NOVEMBER 2021

Kia ora RRS Whanau

These have been difficult times for our Mangere East communities who have weathered very turbulent times with the Delta Covid 19 strain.    Our RRS staff have worked tirelessly to support our students throughout these past 3 months and we continue to do so.

This week we see the reopening of primary schools throughout Auckland.  For RRS this is a brand new step in the right direction to ensure that our students can have some sense of normality before the end of 2021.  This is particularly so for our Year 8s.  We hope to see the majority of them return to see out what is left of this year.

Wednesday 17 November sees the beginning of our Bubble Zones.  We have logistically planned for health and safety following closely to the MOE and MOH covid response guidelines.  Please make reference to our information video.

We hope that you will consider sending your students back to school – if not our online learning program continues on regardless.

Take care and be safe.

Nga mihi atu
